Niyamah Collective

The Niyamah collective is a group of dynamic funky wild artists devoted to social change. Their backgrounds global, their faces strong. Beginning in 2004, the collective has participated and initiated various Artistic Pieces all over Canada. The intention of the collective is to represent the spiritual aspect of art that expresses the essence of the artist within. As well as to support individuals in finding their creative voice and facilitate the fact that we are all artists.

Through workshops, retreats, events, or performances this group of dancers, musicians, circus performers, Painters and Poets leave a beautiful footprint.

Honouring the indigenous history of canada and the land that we walk on every day.

The Last Great Party on Earth

The Niyamah collective floods the Ecclesiax Art Gallery with a body painted chakra system. The chakra's sounded the syllable "OM" as the audience entered into the space. A great story was told that night. The story of a dream, the battle between light and dark, the recognition that they are not so different after all, and the story of the birth of the Universe.
